Here you will find exercises used to become familiar with photoshop tools and techniques. Click here for the site containing all instructions on how to complete each exercise.
For the first project, we were given this damaged photograph and instructed to return it to the original form. I used a combination of photoshop tools such as clone stamp, eraser, and paint brush to come up with my final product shown below.
The next project involved much more than basic photoshop tools. We were given the photo on the right and had to reconstruct the missing portion so it matched the top image (shown below). This involved going online to find an image of a similar coat and to copy, paste, and distort it on the image so it looks like it is being worn by the woman. Clone stamping was not allowed. My final image is the black and white one underneath the color image.
For this exercise we had to make the top image look as close to the bottom image as possible. This was done by creating multiple layers and using paint and filters to change the appearance.
For this exercise, we had to put the painting (left image) into the frames in the gallery shown in the middle picture. The final product is shown on the far right.
This exercise was completed by using tools such as clone stamp and paint brush to repair the image on the left to look newer. The final is on the right.
This exercise also consisted of using tools such as paint brush and clone stamp. Filters were used to blur the image, creating a look similar to makeup.
This exercise was completed by changing the whole image to black and white. From there, I used repair tools to fix imperfections and came up with the image on the right.
